Full schedule of all 2018 Vancouver International Wine Festival events - with regional focus on Spain and Portugal

Tickets for all events at the fabulous Vancouver International Wine Festival are selling fast - do not delay, especially if you want to attend one of the fascinating seminars or a winemaker's dinner at some of the city's top restaurants! 

The Wine Barbarian will be there - and will have tips for the always popular and sold out International Festival Tastings - so stay tuned here for more information as the big event approaches.  It runs from February 24 through March 4, 2018.


In fact, the Vintners' Brunch is already sold out, as our most of the wine dinners! 

And you don't want to miss the opportunity to meet and greet with true wine royalty - like Barone Francesco Ricasoli - above - who hosted a fabulous tasting of his great Chianti wines in 2016.

Important news from the Vancouver International Wine Festival - I hope to see you there!

Tickets to all public events at Canada's premier wine show, February 24 - March 4, go on sale Wednesday morning at 9:30 a.m .The Vancouver International Wine Festival is an eight-day celebration of wine and food that features 51 events, including dinners, the Bacchanalia Gala Dinner + Auction, lunches, minglers and wine & food parties, educational seminars and the Tasting Room, where the 173 participating wineries gather to serve ~750 wines. 

Check out some of the vine stars coming to Vancouver this year!

This year, the spotlight is on Iberian Peninsula neighbours Spain and Portugal, highlighting their wines through special events and the theme section of the Tasting Room.

The Tasting Room is home to all 173 participating wineries, as well as Regional Tasting Stations from Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Spain. Choose from four International Festival Tastings sessions: Thursday, Friday, Saturday evening or Saturday matinee. Want to kick it up a notch? 

Enhance your Friday or Saturday evening tasting with the VIP experience in the Delta Air Lines Tasting Lounge. Enjoy some great bites, select festival wines, and comfortable seating with an amazing view, then head next door to the Tasting Room though an adjoining door.

Or go all in on a Gold Pass that gives you access to all six sessions in the Tasting Room (four International Festival Tastings and two Trade Tastings, presented by ContainerWorld), the invitation-only Festival Taste on Thursday, plus the Delta Air Lines Tasting Lounge on Friday and Saturday.
